Barry Martin Lambert
Chairman
Barry Lambert established Count Financial in 1980. Prior to establishing Count, Barry worked for 19 years within the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Barry was a Founding Director of the industry body ASIFA (now the FPA) in 1982 and was elected NSW President in 1985 and National President of ASIFA in 1988.

Barry is the Chairman of the CBA part owned Countplus Limited and a Director of many Countplus Member Firms. He is also the founder and Director of the Count Charitable Foundation.

Outside of the Countplus group, Barry is also the Chairman of the Class Super companies, a rapidly growing cloud based IT software solutions business specialising in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds administration.

Matthew Rowe
Managing Director & CEO
Matthew Rowe is the former Managing Director of Hood Sweeney, the 30th largest Accounting firm in Australia and twice a BRW top 10 fastest growing firm. Just over a year ago he successfully managed his transition and succession from the business to attend Harvard Business School. Matthew was also the longest serving Chairman in the history of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and represented Australia on the Global Standards Body.

Matthew brings to Countplus a track record in leading a high performing professional services organisation, strong corporate and regulatory experience, as well as being recognised as a successful change agent within financial services.

Matthew was appointed a Director of Countplus in October 2016.

Graeme Hilton George Fowler
Independent Non-Executive Director
Graeme has over 30 years experience in Australia, NZ and internationally in financial and business governance, business strategy, leadership and management across a range of industries and sectors including professional services, financial services, online businesses, small cap ASX listed companies and NFP’s.

He previously held roles as Group Chief Executive and Chief Financial Officer of listed Accounting & Financial Services business WHK Group Limited (Crowe Horwath) and Managing Director of legal firm ILH Group.

Prior to this, Graeme spent over 15 years in senior management roles with the BT Financial Group including Group Chief Financial Officer, Chief Executive BT Funds Management NZ and Chief Executive BT Portfolio Services.

Graeme was appointed a Director of Countplus in August 2010.

Alison Ledger
Independent Non-Executive Director
Alison has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry.  She has held senior operational and strategic roles in banking, funds management and insurance with Chase, Bankers Trust and IAG.  

As a Partner with McKinsey and Company she advised some of the leading global and Australian banks on strategy and organisational change.  She has extensive international experience in the US, UK/Europe as well as Australia.  Her experience as a company director has been in the biotechnology (pSivida) and life insurance (IAG Life) sectors.

Alison’s more recent experience has been in digital transformation and customer experience. As Executive General Manager of Product, Pricing and eBusiness, Alison ran IAG’s digital business and CX for the consumer brands including NRMA, SGIO and SGIC. 

Alison was appointed a Director of Countplus in October 2016.

 Raymond John Kellerman
 Independent Non-Executive Director
Ray has over 29 years of experience in the financial services industry including in the funds management, financial advisory, life insurance and corporate and structured finance industries. Previous appointments include Independent Chairman of ClearView Wealth, an ASX listed life insurance and financial services company, and Independent Chairman of Credit Suisse Asset Management Australia. Prior to this he was with Perpetual Trustees Australia for 10 years before establishing his own financial services and compliance advisory business in 2001.  

Ray is an owner and Executive Director of Quentin Ayers, an implemented asset advisor specialising in alternative private market investments. He holds qualifications in law, economics, investment securities and management.

Ray currently acts as a director for Goodman Funds Management Australia, Foundation Life New Zealand and Ryder Capital. He is also active in a number of governance related roles for some major fund managers operating in Australia.

Ray was appointed a Director of Countplus in January 2017.

 Arlette Jubian
 Company Secretary
 Arlette Jubian is the Group Financial Controller for Countplus. 

Arlette has 16 years of experience in the commercial accounting field, having worked in professional services (legal), construction (architecture), technology and financial industries. For over 10 years, Arlette held senior accounting positions working with senior management running local and global listed and unlisted organisations. 

Arlette was appointed Company Secretary of Countplus in June 2012.
